Most of these are quick jobs that people put off for months. A tap that drips wastes a surprising amount of water and stains the basin. A cistern that keeps refilling is doing the same quietly. A shower that has lost pressure is usually a blocked head or a worn cartridge rather than anything serious.
We carry common parts, so a lot of this is done on the first visit. Where a fitting is old enough that parts are no longer made — and plenty of them are — we will say so rather than bodging it, and talk you through replacing it instead.
If you have several of these building up, mention them all when you ring. Doing four small jobs in one visit is far better value for you than four separate callouts.
